Since its incorporation in 1991, Tostan has implemented its Community Empowerment Program (CEP) in over 2,600 communities in nine countries in Africa.
Currently, Tostan has operations in:
- Senegal
- Guinea
- The Gambia
- Mauritania
- Somalia
- Djibouti
Previous versions of the Tostan program have been implemented in Burkina Faso, Mali, and Sudan.
