Since its incorporation in 1991, Tostan has implemented its
Community Empowerment Program (CEP) in thousands of communities in ten countries in Africa.
Currently, Tostan has operations in:

The Gambia
Guinea
Guinea Bissau
Mali
Mauritania
Senegal
Somalia
Previous versions of the Tostan program have been implemented in Burkina Faso and Sudan.
